River Wildlife Corridors

Friday, 20 January 2023 19:00 – 21:30
Forncett Village Hall
Forncett Nature Matters

Join us for an evening of talks about the importance our river systems as environments and as corridors to allow both animals and plants to move freely. Rodney Aldis, from South Yare Wildlife Group, will tells us about the work of the Chet Valley B-Line – the Chet is a tributary of the River Yare - whilst Ross Jolliffe will talk about his work helping the Norfolk Rivers Trust with their efforts to sustain the crayfish population in Norfolk. Tim Fisher, the Volunteer and Engagement Officer of the Norfolk Rivers Trust, will be at the meeting with a map of the Tas catchment area.  What can we each do to improve the health of our own little river? Come and find out.

The evening is free, with light refreshments.

A donation towards to the cost of the hall is welcome.
