North Aisle, East End - Thorsby Window

Memorial window. Saints Simeon and Anna.
In memory of Robert and Ann Thorsby, 1883.
The glass is by A.L.Moore of London and is described as typical commercial glass of the period. The window cost £50.

Drake Tomb - Forncett St Peter Church

The Tomb in the North Aisle of St Peter's Church - to Thomas and Elizabeth Drake, 1485

Tomb to Robert and Ann Drake 1485

Rosemary Izat, in her Historical Outline of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Forncett St Peter, states that the inscription on the tomb once read 'All Christian people that walk by this tomb early or late, of your charity say a pater noster for the soul of Thomas Drake' (Weever's Funeral Monuments).
